Hello guys, Today i am going to talk about Mobikwik. Mobikwik is the application that allow us to transfer money, pay a Bills, Recharge your mobile and much more. In short Mobikwik is the application and websites like Paytm. But Mobikwik is mot online shopping store like Paytm.
So lets start with the brief introduction.

MobiKwik wallet is an online prepaid account where a user can store money, to pay mobile recharge,DTH,electricity bill and pay on online shopping sites . The MobiKwik wallet has to be loaded with money once before it can be used across functions. They tied up with various online merchants such as eBay India, BookMyShow, Dominos India, ShopClues and Snapdeal to provide accessibility of their wallet as a payment option on e-commerce sites. Mobikwik raised under $5 million in its Series A funding from an unnamed US-based VC firm in 2013 and is expected to get another $30 million in the coming year.

Upasana's mission is to simplify payment acceptance for Indian merchants/retailers. Her focus is on taking the MobiKwik Wallet to millions of retailers, bank partnerships, and talent acquisition. Upasana comes with a strong payments background as a senior product manager with PayPal (an eBay company) in Silicon Valley and prior to that with HSBC at San Diego. VIRENDER BISHT (CHIED TECHNOLOGY OFFICER)
Virender owns all aspects of product research and development, user experience design and tech infrastructure. He has a knack of both strategy and ground level execution. He holds more than a decade of diverse technology experience with companies like MakeMyTrip, Educomp, TribalFusion and Exponential. In his last assignment at MakeMyTrip he was looking at Payments and Mobile domains. He has a Bachelors degree in Engineering from NIT Kuruskshetra.
